The third edition of the 福利姬 Staff Durbar came off on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Great Hall of the University.
The event offered a unique platform for the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Emmanuel Ohene Afoakwa, to outline his vision and key strategic priorities for the 2025 academic year to the University community.
A major highlight of the event was the presentation of awards to deserving staff members who distinguished themselves through hard work, dedication, and exceptional service in the 2024 academic year. Awards were presented across various categories, covering Junior Staff, Senior Staff, Administrative/Professional Senior Members, and Academic Senior Members as follows:
Junior Staff Awards
The following Junior Staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions in their respective roles:
- Best Security Guard:聽Mr. Andrew Opoku Boakye (Assistant Security Officer, General Administration & Operations)
- Best Cleaner:聽Ms. Awinpoka Atandigre聽(Senior Messenger/Cleaner, General Administration & Operations)
- Best Artisan:聽Mr. Christopher Nartey (Artisan, Works and Physical Development)
